"Websites and social media networks have made laudable efforts and contributions toward combating human trafficking, including, most notably, the creation and distribution of tools to detect child pornography. But there is room to do more. Many of the tools, policies, and procedures originally created to combat child pornography specifically could, with minor adaptations, be adapted to keep human trafficking from thriving on social media platforms.
