"The author deals with the educational radio campaign carried out by the adult education associations; since 1952 courses have been given on radio for illiterate people, who also flow the courses in textbooks specially designed for them — The difficulties at the beginning were considerable but subsequently the experiment proved successful — The author goes on to describe the programme for the courses — As the experiment proceeded reports were drawn up and progress was recorded — Finally the author makes an assessment of this work which he considers to have positive value — He encourages various organisations concerned with this work to improve their methods in order to contact their radio pupil more effectively — He draws attention to practical and technical problems and problems of educational psychology, which should be studied by the organisers of the campaign."
