Chapter 6 (p.121-150) gives an overview of institutions active in Dutch media development cooperation, their aims and concrete projects. The author concludes: "The Dutch contribution to information and communication development is prominent in international debates, but disjointed in political practice. The quality and effectiveness of international cooperation will only improve if the divergent information and communication activities are better geared to each other and are subject to improved coordination" (page 278)
