ligiosidad popular del que surge la aproximación al de prácticas religiosas que guía el análisis. Presentamos luego la incidencia y característica de dieciocho prácticas, comparando, donde es posible, con datos del Atlas de las creencias religiosas coordinado por Mallimaci (2013). Ahondamos con mayor profundidad en algunas de ellas: la de efectuar una promesa y la de tener altares en espacios domésticos; exploramos asimismo el peso de los medios de comunicación e internet como espacios que sostienen algunas prácticas y su incidencia en la ruptura con la identidad territorial de estos pobladores. Finalizamos analizando la autopercepción sobre el grado de práctica y su cambio a lo largo del tiempo, concluyendo que esta pareciera mantenerse estable y conformándose como una dimensión que acompaña «naturalmente» sus vidas. Los interrogantes del trabajo son: ¿cuáles son y qué características tienen las prácticas religiosas? ¿Qué expresan? ¿Qué vinculación tienen con los marcos institucionales religiosos? ¿Cómo se vinculan con los territorios en los que habitan? ¿Cuál es la vinculación entre prácticas y vivencias religiosas?" Conversely, school and indigenous media merged into the public sector, even if they may act as community media. The article compares results arising from two research projects carried out in Northern Argentina through in-depth interviews with key informants from two indigenous radio stations and two school radio stations. The theoretical framework mainly draws on literature about community, alternative and popular communication. Results show that communities participate in such media foundation or management and that media content deals with cultural and political issues related to their interests or needs. Indeed, emerging features allow considering such broadcasters as community media." (Abstract)

nalyze how low-income youth reflect on their own processes of engagement in communication for social change (CFSC). Another objective is to demonstrate how ethnography can provide in-depth analyses of trajectories and initiatives in CFSC. The article primarily focuses on retrospective accounts of young adults who had participated in media-educational projects by nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and subsequently became active agents of change in, through and about media. The analysis of these accounts indicates how the participation in NGO projects characterize actions for self-development. It also demonstrates how interactions among participants–not necessarily anticipated by NGOs –are crucial for low-income youth to engage in activist media and journalism in peripheral Rio de Janeiro. The article ends with a reflection about how ethnography is a useful method to add in-depth qualitative layers to the evaluation of CFSC initiatives." (Abstract)

n con la audiencia radial a nivel urbano que se maneja en la industria publicitaria, se obtiene una audiencia integral a nivel total Perú. Para el caso se manejó una muestra panel de 1,200 personas distribuidas en 150 caseríos en 24 departamentos, respetando el peso poblacional rural de cada uno de ellos. Los caseríos fueron elegidos estrictamente al azar a partir de la base de datos de centros poblados rurales del INEI. La importancia de esta investigación es que permite estimar el gran potencial que tiene la radio al alcanzar a nivel Perú Rural el 81,5% (4’0 millones de personas de 11 a más años) en el término de una semana. El total de audiencia rural semanal representa el 18% y a nivel audiencia urbana el 82% del total nacional. Las emisoras locales en la zona rural tienen una mayor presencia respecto a las emisoras nacionales. Según emisoras, R.P.P. alcanza durante la semana al 26,6% de esta población de 11 a más años, que representa 1’3 millón de personas que escuchan esta radio, en menor medida se ubica Nueva Q con un alcance semanal de 3,8%, le sigue La Karibeña con 3,5%, Moda 2,7% y Exitosa 2,1% entre las más destacadas."
